Does Jerry Seinfeld Have Autism?
Jerry Seinfeld Says He Is Not on the Autism Spectrum After All
During a recent interview with NBC's anchor, Brian Williams, famous comedian Jerry Seinfeld made a comment about possibly being on the autism spectrum.
He was merely speculating, but many people on social media took his statement seriously and wanted him to give proof for his "self-diagnosis."
Now he wants to set the record straight regarding his autism diagnosis.
Jerry Seinfeld told "Access Hollywood", "I don't have autism. I'm not on the spectrum."
So why did he say, "I think on a very drawn-out scale, I think I'm on the spectrum" in an earlier sit down with the NBC Nightly News anchor?
His response to "Access Hollywood": "I just was watching this play about it and...I related to it on some level. That's all I was saying."
In short, Jerry Seinfeld does not have autism or asperger's syndrome, despite the confusion caused in his recent interviews.
