During the intake process, we'll get some really basic background information about your child's skills, deficits, and interests. We'll then schedule our initial assessment.
2. Let's see where we can help!
A BCBA will complete an in depth assessment of your child's skills and struggles. The assessment is done via interaction with your child, observation of your child and caregiver interviews, and then a full treatment plan is drafted.
3. Let the progress begin!
Once authorization is received from insurance, a behavior technician and BCBA will be assigned to your child. Therapy will consist of sessions conducted by the behavior technician and closely supervised by the BCBA.
4. Let's provide as much support as we can!
The BCBA will be present in the session on a systematic schedule to ensure that everything is going smoothly. In addition, the BCBA will provide Family Support/Parent and Caregiver Training sessions to help caregivers learn the tricks of the trade in helping your child progress.
5. Let's ensure that we're progressing as planned!
During sessions, the behavior technician takes clear data on how the client is doing in session. This data gets reviewed frequently by the BCBA so that modifications can be made to sessions if necessary.
6. Let's re-evaluate our plan!
Every 6 months, a full re-assessment is completed to ascertain and confirm that progress is headed in the right direction and to document additional goals that will be targeted for the next 6 months of services.
